filmmaking began for me
as a kid. I quickly caught onto the idea that memories come & go & begin to fade. but you could quite literally, relive a memory by capturing it on film. It was important to me, to capture emotion through film. to capture my growing family, my homes, my friends, my entire life.
not just to rewatch
but to relive over and over again.
Package 1: Q+A | $400
I have two options for mentor sessions. My first option is Package i: Q+A Mentor Session. This session includes a one hour meeting with me, Madi! This session is primarily led by you. If you are completely clueless where to begin, i will bring an agenda with me that goes over my workflow to kick start our session. But i encourage you to come with your greatest strengths and weaknesses in mind, so we can discover together, which area of filmmaking you’d like to become better at and help you totally kill it!
Package 2: Job Shadow | $700
My second option for a mentor session is Package ii: Job Shadow + Review. This session will last approximately 2.5 - 3 hours in length and will be much more hands on with the learning experience.
We will meet together and discuss beginning your business, legality, equipment, settings, posing, interacting with clients, marketing, etc. All the things you need to do to prepare BEFORE a shoot.
Next we will work hands on with clients for an hour. Here you will be able to work side by side with me as we create a film for actual clients in some capacity. This will be a great oppurtunity for you to ask questions while we are shooting, gain experience working with real clients, create content for your portfolio, learn new ‘posing’ techniques and how to help clients feel comfortable, etc!
ANNND lastly, we will sit down again after we work with clients to go over workflow. I’ll teach you from start to finish my workflow after creating a film. Here we will discuss file organization, editing in Final Cut Pro X, editing in Lightroom (color correcting), creativity with films and finalizing and delivering films.
I encourage you to come with your greatest strengths and weaknesses in mind, so we can discover together, which area of filmmaking you’d like to become better at and help you totally kill it! I reccomend you bring your laptop and shooting equipment so we can review them together. As well as making sure you answer my questionnaire at least a week in advance so i can be prepared for you!
