WEDDING TIP: Are you nervous to read your handwritten vows in front of you’re entire guest list at your wedding? Save this post to remember this wedding day tip for later ✨

It’s no secret that audio adds a whole new element of emotion & creativity to your wedding film. But for some people, reading their handwritten vows in front of their entire guest list can be nerve wracking & stressful.

Lately many of my clients have opted for a private vow reading. They write their handwritten vows share them with each other privately so they still have this special & unique audio documented but it eases the stress of feeling like you are performing in front of a big audience! To some couples, this is absolutely no problem & they look forward to publicly expressing their love through their words. For others it’s absolutely terrifying! So if you fall into this latter category & have mixed feelings, here’s some options for sharing your words privately with your significant other a different time during your day.. without compromising other wedding plans + traditions!

– Write your vows & have them delivered to each other during the preceremony time. You can read them like a letter to each other before the ceremony by yourself. A sweet way to get excited for the ceremony + still be able to see each other down the aisle for the first time!

– share a first look! First looks help ease some stress + allow you to spend time with each other before your wedding begins. Read your vows privately to each other after your first look & without an audience.

– save your vows until the end of the evening & sneak off for some golden hour photos ++ a sunset vow reading with just you & your babe! You don’t have to compromise a first look down the aisle & much of the nerves from the ceremony will be eased at the end of the night!
